Would you like to write something - anything - for the next issue of Scout & Scouting magazine?

We loved editing Issue 2 and hope that you enjoyed reading it - we've certainly had plenty of feedback that has been mostly very positive. Thank you! We are now starting to put together Issue 3. Would you like to write something - anything - for this issue? If you have something that you've done, experienced, enjoyed, maybe a new hobby, a challenge you've set yourself, a book you've read, anything that you think your fellow readers may be interested in then get writing. and don't forget to attach some high definition photos if you would like them to be included. It can be about hikes, holidays, camp, bushcraft, activities, games, watersports, challenges, adventures, volunteering, equipment and much, much more. Why not surprise us? It can be short or long (up to 1,500 words), funny or sad, instructive, informative or light-hearted. Or how about a drawing? You can be old or young, it doesn't matter. Maybe if you're a young person you need to do some writing as part of a badge - if so, now's the time. If you're a leader you could ask your scouts to contribute something. Don't worry if you're not an expert, we can tidy your piece up if needs be. Email to info@searchlinepublishing.co.uk and to say "thank you" we will send you a free gift. If you miss the deadline we will include it in the next issue. If you haven't yet had a look at Issues 1 and 2 you can still download a free copy. Alternatively you may like to take out a subscription for a paper copy for yourself or someone else. You can have issues one to four for just £13.50 and we will send you a free book of games. Go to Scout & Scouting download. Issue 3 will be out in August.

Finally don't forget to tell your friends about us! You can find our website at www.scoutandscouting.com that we have just updated with loads of new content from Issue 2. We look forward to hearing from you! With best wishes.

Richard and the team at Scout and Scouting. Scout & Scouting is an independent publication and has no relationship with any of the various scout associations
